#3 Thierry Henry

Despite winning the treble, his powers seemed to be waning in 2008-09 but the rise of winger Pedro Rodriguez, currently at Chelsea, in the 2009-10 season was the final nail in the coffin of former Monaco star and Arsenal FC legend Thierry Henry's FC Barcelona career.
He moved stateside, joining Eastern Conference’s New York Red Bulls in July 2010 and debuted against Houston Dynamo, assisting both goals scored by the new arrival and fellow Designated Player Juan Pablo Angel in a 2-2 draw.
He scored his first MLS goal in a 2-0 win against San Jose Earthquakes. Though the Bulls topped the Eastern Conference, they bowed out of the MLS Cup Playoffs as a result of a 3-2 loss to San Jose. Henry scored 2 goals in 12 games for the Bulls.
In 2011, Henry had a great season on a personal level, scoring 15 goals in 29 appearances. However, the Bulls, as a team, performed badly and finished outside the Play off-places.
In March 2012, Henry scored his first MLS hat trick in the 5-2 win over Montreal Impact and was named MLS player of the month. In October, Henry scored two and also provided two assists in a 5-2 win over Chicago Fire as the Bulls finished the regular season as Champions. The Superior Cup was the Bulls’ first major trophy in their history. Henry finished the 2013 season with 10 goals from 30 games.
Henry became the Bulls’ highest assist provider when he scored one and provided assists for all other goals in a 4-1 win over Columbus Crew. Just the previous one, Henry finished the 2014 season with 10 goals from 30 games.
He left the club in December 2014 and announced his retirement a fortnight later. He joined Sky Sports as a pundit. He has since left his job with the broadcaster to concentrate on his coaching career. He accepted the position of assistant to Belgium manager Roberto Martinez in August 2016. He was reportedly offered the vacant managerial position at French club Bordeaux but declined it due to differences with the Board.
