Tottenham confirm Paulinho has completed his transfer from Corinthians

Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Paulinho from Corinthians for £17m. The 24-year-old, who has 17 caps for Brazil, completed his medical on Friday night. With that he become Andre Villas-Boas’s first official signing of the summer. Paulinho was part of the Corinthians side that won the Copa Libertadores last year and also went on to defeat Chelsea in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan last December.

He played a key role his country victory at FIFA Confederations Cup last Sunday with victory against world champions Spain.
