David De Gea - 6.5/10
With Spurs totally listless in attack, Manchester United custodian De Gea had a comfortable game. In fact, he didn't face a single shot all night.
Victor Lindelof - 6.5/10
He read the game brilliantly, making four clearances. But his attempts to get the ball out from the back weren't always successful.
Raphael Varane - 7/10
With him in defence, United looked a much better side than the one that was torn apart by Liverpool last weekend. Varane should start every game for United.
Harry Maguire - 6/10
It was a much better outing from the United captain, following a series of horror shows recently.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 7/10
Defensively, he was great, producing a stupendous block on Son, although the Korean was offside anyway.
Scott McTominay - 7.5/10
He fought hard for the ball, made excellent distributions, and ran through the heart of Spurs. McTominay was on fire on the night.
Fred - 6/10
The Brazilian lost most of his ground duels, but still a reliable figure in midfield. He even attempted a shot from distance.
Luke Shaw - 7.5/10
Shaw put on a defensive masterclass, dominating in the air, making four clearances and two interceptions.
Bruno Fernandes - 8/10
The Portuguese ace picked up pockets of space to work into as usual. He created numerous chances, including the superb assist for Ronaldo's opener.
Edinson Cavani - 7/10
He was an excellent foil for Ronaldo, running the length of the pitch, and capping off a good performance with an equally sweet strike.
Cristiano Ronaldo - 8/10
The prolific No.7 got United underway with a stupendous volley from a tight angle. He then assisted Cavani with an incredible defence-splitting pass.
Ratings of Manchester United substitutes against Tottenham Hotspur
Marcus Rashford - 7/10
He got United's third of the evening with a confident finish at the far post. It's now three in four games for Rashford since returning from injury.
Nemanja Matic - 6/10
He merely came on to add silk and steel in midfield and ensure Spurs didn't get anything from the game, not that they looked likely to.
Jesse Lingard - N/A
It was a case of too little too late when Lingard was subbed.
