This latest loss to Barcelona means Tottenham have now lost both of their opening group games in a European competition for the first time in the history and the result leaves them in dire straits as far as Group B is concerned.

Mauricio Pochettino's men are yet to open their account this season and are already playing catch up to both Barcelona and Inter, who are level on points after winning both their games so far in the competition.
