In today’s transfers round-up we have a similar pattern to yesterday's as the top clubs, namely the Manchester outfits feature with a bit of Palace and the London clubs.
So here we go!
#5 Crystal Palace and West Ham
According to Milliyet, Crystal Palace are still interested in signing Ozan Tufan after missing out on him in the winter.
After missing him in the January window, Palace apparently emailed him claiming:
“You’re a good young player. At the very last minute, we needed to sign an attacker because of injury. We like you, we’re believing in you. We’ll talk again in the summer.”
Meanwhile, West Ham co-owner Jack Sullivan confirmed, as reported by TalkSPORT via Daily Mail, that the club made a club-record bid for Joe Allen, but it was rejected by Stoke.
#4 Arsenal mania
According to the folks at Catalan media outlet Sport, Raul Sanllehi, who used to be a Barcelona executive, has brought Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak closer to the Gunners. Sanllehi has been credited with helping Neymar’s and Luis Suarez’s deals to Barcelona and is now pushing the Atletico shot-stopper.
Meanwhile, O Jogo believe that Arsenal watched Benfica star Andrija Zivkovic against Rio Ave and were impressed with his display. If these rumours are true, then the future could be exciting for Arsenal fans.
#3 Manchester United in the rumours yet again
Apparently, Express believe that Marcus Rashford could leave should Manchester United bring Justin Kluivert to the club.
Don Balon state that David De Gea wants to replace Keylor Navas at Real Madrid and is pushing for a move.
Meanwhile, CalcioMercato link Ivan Perisic to Manchester United, claiming that the Croat could leave should Inter fail to qualify for the Champions League.
And then there are AS, who claim that Mateo Kovacic is being monitored by a host of clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
#2 Manchester City are still looking for new recruits
According to the folks at Don Balon, Cristiano Ronaldo is aware of the fact that Manchester City manager wants Isco, who is apparently one of the many “dissatisfied” members of the Los Blancos’ squad.
This is not the first time that Isco has been linked with Manchester City. Given that he isn't playing like he was last season, these rumours do make some sense.
#1 More about Manchester United
Manchester Evening News report that Manchester United have sent scouts to keep an eye out on Borussia Dortmund pair Julian Weigl and Christian Pulisic, while also claiming that the Red Devils have shortlisted Napoli’s Jorginho.
If Mourinho gets even one of these three, United will be a force to be reckoned with.
As quoted by Metro, Justin Kluivert will not join Manchester United at this point of time.
"I have heard the rumours but I haven’t spoken to Mourinho. A move to Manchester United wouldn’t make sense, for now," Kluivert said.
