Erik Lamela might have scored a goal for his side Tottenham Hotspur in the Capital One cup game vs Brighton, but he did receive a mouthful from his manager Mauricio Pochettino for taking his own time to come out of the toilet cubicle at half-time.
The Argentine came on a substitute for Aaron Lennon and scored the opening goal for his side eight minutes later at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham won the game 2-0 with Harry Kone scoring the second goal.
Pochentino said: “I got angry about him being late because I was focused.
“When we arrived at the dressing room they knew about Lennon’s injury so I wanted Lamela on.
“After that he went to go to the toilet and we had to wait for him to come out.” he added.
Spurs will now face Newcastle in the quarter-finals.
