Spurs have a disastrous record against the top 4 teams this season and have failed to win a game, losing five and drawing one. What’s more, their aggregate in these games is 2 goals scored and 23 goals conceded!

Spurs are still within touching distance of fourth spot with 9 games to go. But Sherwood’s attitude suggests that there is no hope for the North London team, even so far as asking the club and the fans to “wake up” and not harbour any dreams of clinching a Champions League spot.

Way to inspire the team, Tim!
