French midfielder Etienne Capoue is set to sign for Tottenham after the EPL club agreed a £9 million fee with Toulouse. He is currently undergoing a medical test at White Hart Lane, according to a BBC report.
Capoue will be Tottenham’s fourth summer signing, after Brazilian midfielder Paulinho from Corinthians, Belgium winger Nacer Chadli from FC Twente and Spanish striker Soldado from Valencia.
The midfielder’s arrival will further raise doubts about Scott Parker, who has been linked with West Ham and OPR.
Etienne Capoue has appeared in 171 matches for his previous club Toulouse and scored 13 goals. He has also represented the French national team in five international matches and scored one goal.
