Hello and welcome to the Tottenham transfer roundup for the day! Spurs are not going to stay quiet in the window it seems and might actually cause trouble for others. So without further ado, let’s begin!
#5 Suso rules out move
AC Milan star Suso has ruled out a move to Liverpool and Tottenham in the summer.
"I have always said that I am very well here, that I found myself very well and that there is nothing that can make me think I have to leave," he was quoted by Calcio Mercato.
"The team and if the company wants to grow with me, I will be happy because now Milan is my home."
"We do not have to start over from scratch again. There is finally a base on which to add new elements, Gattuso knows what should be right and we'll start from that point."
#4 Marcos Alonso pursuit
This might be a very difficult transfer to pull off, but that is what Don Balon report – and they are expert at these things – as Tottenham have been credited with an interest for Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso.
The former Real Madrid defender has found a new home at Stamford Bridge and has been one of their most consistent performers, which is why even Barcelona are interested in him along with Spurs.
#3 Spurs eye Gelson
Liverpool might have to take a hit on their approach for Gelson Martins as Tottenham Hotspur have overtaken them in the pursuit of the Sporting Lisbon star, say A Bola via TeamTalk.
The Reds had chased him last summer but opted for Mohamed Salah in the end – and Martins doesn’t want to join Liverpool because of the indispensable status of the Egyptian. As a result, the Lilywhites are favourites to land him for his buy-out clause of €60 million.
#2 Ranieri on Spurs’ radar
It is absurd to think that Tottenham would let go of Mauricio Pochettino at the end of the season but if a report from Press Ocean is to be believed, then that is just what could happen.
According to the report, Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a move for former Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri as a means to take over from the Argentine manager after the end of the season.
#1 Spurs open bid
This is a news that could bring a smile on the faces of Spurs fans as Transfer Market Web have claimed that the North London outfit have made an opening bid for talented 20-year-old defensive midfielder Amadou Diawara.
The Italian outfit, the report adds, might be willing to let go of the talented destroyer and keep Jorginho at the club, who has attracted interest from Manchester United and Liverpool this summer.
This could be a headache for both Liverpool and Manchester United.
