The Belgian winger signed from Twente, raised a few eyebrows when it was announced. But, after his first couple of games in the Premier League, the Belgian has no doubt, endeared himself to the Spurs faithful with his directness, pass and his strength.

Although he plays on the left wing, the right footed winger is equally capable of playing on either flank or even throughout the middle and his versatility will no doubt be a blessing for Andre Villas-Boas. His experience in Europe and his uncanny ability to draw a foul are just a couple more reasons why he will no doubt, prove to be an invaluable asset for Spurs.
