United are understaffed in the position Willian plays in
This is the transfer which United needs the most because it is for the position where United are very weak. The right wing has been a cause of concern for the whole of last season and the deficiency was still evident in the preseason games.

Willian, despite his age, was rightly targeted as he is a natural fit for the position and he is also proven in the Premier League, plus he has worked with Mourinho before. United have been pursuing him all through the summer with little to show for and Metro recently reported that United were willing to offer Martial as a part of the deal to bring the Brazilian to Old Trafford.
However, after the Community Shield defeat at the hands of Manchester City, Willian seemed to indicate that he was staying at Chelsea. This was bad news for United fans. Yet, in another late twist, Goal now reports that Willian has stated he wants to play for Mourinho again, adding further fuel to the rumours. This is another saga that will go down to the wire, but there are very good chances of the deal coming through.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
