In a matter of weeks, Arsenal has gone from mourning about having absolutely no funds for the January transfer window to singing one of the most coveted wingers in the world! Persic is said to be close to a move to London as he has struggled to find form for The Nerazzurri this season. 3 goals and 2 assists in close to thirteen hundred minutes have seen Perisic want to move on.

Inter have been very professional about this and have accepted Perisic's transfer request. A representative of the club recently came out and said that the club is willing to let the player go as long as a concrete offer is made from a club. He also said that the club had to recoup their investment in the player and that the "economics" of the deal need to be taken into consideration.

An offer of a loan move and an option to buy for £34.5 million at the end of the season from Arsenal has already been rejected by Inter. They seem to be wanting a permanent deal right away. This would greatly bolster the Gunner's attack with a possible front three of Perisic, Lacazette and Aubameyang on the horizon.

Although this wouldn/t solve their defensive issues, it would a great move given that Arsenal can look to simply outscore their opponents. This would also facilitate and return into the contention for a spot in the top four. Manchester United's recent rise in form has led to Arsenal not even being considered as having a chance to get into the top 4.
