Italy calling for Mesut Ozil

Inter Milan confirm interest in Mesut Ozil

With no talks taking place between Mesut Ozil who is in his final year of contract and Arsenal, Ozil was linked with a move to Inter Milan.

Club president Eric Thohir has now confirmed the club's interest in the German superstar.

He said, "Ozil is definitely one of those players we are looking at. But the last January signings of Podolski and Shaqiri proves winter signings can fail to live up to expectations."

Inter are looking to sign a big name in January and can sign Ozil on a cut-price deal in the winter market.

Juventus duo to extend stay in Turin

Alex Sandro and Giorgio Chiellini are close to signing new deals with Juventus, Corriere Dello Sport understands. Sandro was linked with a move to Chelsea whereas Chiellini was also reportedly unhappy at the club.

But to put an end to all the rumours, the duo will sign extensions as early as the next month. Sandro will sign a new five-year deal which will see him earn over £4 million per year.
