Paris Saint Germain in more trouble due to FFP
PSG had hoped to avoid any sanctions from the governing body for their extravagant deals to sign Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. The Parisians were confident that Mbappe's €160 million transfer would be counted in next year's transaction as a result of his one-year loan deal.
But UEFA has now revealed that Mbappe's fee will be included in the FFP bill immediately.
Uefa President Aleksander Ceferin had recently said, "We are not afraid to punish them. No one is above the law." This has opened the floodgates for the governing committee to sanction charges against PSG and hold them accountable for overspending.
