Welcome to our daily transfer round-up. As always, we’ve compiled some of the best transfer rumours doing the rounds today. Manchester United are yet to make an offer for a former player, whilst Tottenham are close to signing a Ligue 1 star.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are ready to battle it out for a Valencia star, whilst a certain Leicester City star wants Barcelona move.
Here are the transfer rumours doing the rounds on July 17th:
Serie A
- Stoke City are in talks with Juventus to sign Gabonese midfielder Mario Lemina, reports Gazzetta dello Sport. It is reported the Italian giants want around €18m for the former Marseille star.
- Lazio have increased their offer to sign West Ham forward Enner Valencia, reports Gazzetta dello Sport. The Serie A club have now offered €4m loan fee, and another €8m to sign him permanently next summer.
- According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Davide Sante will undergo medicals tomorrow before completing his move to Napoli. The former Newcastle star has agreed to sign a five -year contract worth €1m/year.
Premier League
- Manchester United haven’t made an offer for Juventus star Paul Pogba yet, reports L’Equipe. Ed Woodward is still in negotiations with Mino Raiola, and an offer could be made to Juventus soon.
- According to L’Equipe, Blaise Matuidi is alternative to Paul Pogba, and the player is also keen on switching to the Premier League. It is reported Manchester United made initial enquiries for Matuidi in early June, but talks haven’t progressed.
- Tottenham are on the verge of completing a €13m deal for Marseille star Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, reports L’Equipe. The 22-year-old is expected to sign a four or five-year deal with the Premier League side in the coming days.
La Liga
- According to Spanish daily Sport, Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez wants to sign for Barcelona and dreams of playing at Camp Now. Barcelona, however, know that a deal can be very complicated.
- Nacho Fernandez is on the verge of leaving Real Madrid for AS Roma, reports Tutto Mercato Web. It is reported a deal is underway, and could be made official very soon.
- According to Tutto Mercato Web, Barcelona and Real Madrid are ready to battle it out for Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes. Juventus are also said to be interested, whilst the asking price is around €65m.
Rest of Europe
- Marseille have agreed on a loan deal with the option to buy for Clinton N’Jie with Tottenham, reports L’Equipe. The player will now discuss his future with the North London club, but the Ligue 1 club are confident of completing a deal.
- Marseille are also preparing a double raid on Aston Villa, as they’re looking to sign Jordan Veretout and Carlos Sanchez, reports L’Equipe. The Ligue 1 club want to sign Veretout on loan, whilst make a permanent move for Sanchez.
- According to Sunday Express, Bayern Munich are keen on signing Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny. It is reported the French international has one year remaining on his current deal at the Emirates.
