Bayern Munich manager unhappy with Robert Lewandowski’s agent
Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his dissatisfaction at the comments of Robert Lewandowski’s agent, who claimed that the Polish striker was ‘upset’ with his teammates for not helping him score more goals in the Bundesliga last season – as he missed out on the golden boot, finishing second behind Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Speaking to reporters, Ancelotti said: "Lewandowski has never complained to me, I finally congratulated him on his good season. I was satisfied with him and he was pleased with us. As always there are agents who talk too much - I do not know why. It is not the first time an agent has used the newspapers to say something wrong, that's all. In a perfect world, agents do not talk."
Anthony Modeste doesn’t want to leave Koln
German daily Bild have claimed that Koln striker Anthony Modeste is happy to stay with the Bundesliga outfit. The striker notched up 25 goals in the league last season and was heavily linked with a move away from Germany, however, it is now being reported that he wants to finish his career with the Rhein Energy Stadion outfit.
