Germany chief reveals that Leon Goretzka is heading to England

Schalke 04 midfielder, Leon Goretzka is currently the talk of the town with many European giants currently fighting for his signature. FC Barcelona were suggested to be the favourites to land him but Germany chief Oliver Bierhoff has now claimed that the 22-year-old is off to play in the Premier League. Schalke are trying hard to convince Goretzka to stay put and sign a new deal but it is being said that the player has already made up his mind over his future.

Liverpool closing in on Kai Havertz

Football Whispers have reported that the Reds are close to signing the 18-year-old Bayer Leverkusen starlet, Kai Havertz who is dubbed as the "next Mesut Ozil". Havertz recently signed a five year deal with the German club but that has not deterred Liverpool's persistence. It is claimed that Havertz visited Liverpool's training ground - Melwood last month and also met Jurgen Klopp, Steven Gerrard and Philippe Coutinho.
