Chelsea inch closer to becoming Tiemoue Bakayako's next club

Contrary to most reports, Sky Sports has claimed that Chelsea are the favourites to sign AS Monaco's midfielder in the coming week. Manchester United had no interest in Bakayako, reports the reliable source. He is set to fly to London soon and will be announced as a Chelsea player before the club's pre-season tour. Bakayako will cost the Blues a fee of £40 million plus bonuses.

Manchester United snubbed Alexandre Lacazette

The Guardian has claimed that Arsenal's record signing, Alexandre Lacazette was earlier offered to Manchester United. But the Red Devils denied an interest in the French forward which paved the way for a £46 million transfer to the Gunners. Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho had decided to go for either Romelu Lukaku or Alvaro Morata and was eventually able to land the Belgian.

Tottenham Hotspur show an interest in Manchester City striker

Spurs have hijacked Leicester City's plans of signing Kelechi Iheanacho from the Citizens. The Sun reports that Mauricio Pochettino wants a talented deputy for Harry Kane and sees the Nigerian youngster as the perfect option. Iheanacho wants to stay in England but City want at least £30 million for the striker.
