Zinedine Zidane signs a new three-year deal
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has today signed a three-year deal to keep him at the club till 2021.Talking to reporters after penning a new contract, Zidane said, "My story with Real Madrid is deeper than contracts and signatures. I'm happy to be linked with the club. But the contract doesn't mean anything. You can sign for 10-20 years. I know where I am and what to do. In one year, maybe I won't be here." Zidane has already won two Champions League titles and a La Liga crown during his time with the club.
Lionel Messi to have €1 billion release clause
After seeing Neymar leave for €222 million, FC Barcelona are ready to make Lionel Messi sign a new deal with a release clause of €1 billion, making it impossible for any club to sign the Argentine. Messi will sign a new three year deal with the Catalans which will see him feature in Spain at least till 2021.
