Chelsea agree £28 million deal for Real Madrid defender
Chelsea have beaten Juventus in the pursuit of Real Madrid defender Danilo, according to the Mirror. The Blues have agreed a deal in the region of £28 million for the services of the Brazilian international, who had joined Los Blancos only two years ago for €31.5m.
However, the 25-year-old failed to establish himself as the first-choice right-back at the Santiago Bernabeu and played second fiddle to Dani Carvajal. Danilo is currently with the Real Madrid squad on their pre-season tour of United States but it is expected that the deal will be completed in the next few days.
