- Arjen Robben has spoken about his future at Bayern Munich as he enters the final year of his contract with the Bavarian giants. "I appreciate any interest from other clubs. But right now that does not play a role," Robben told German media outlet Kicker. "I don't give thought to a new contract right now. I want to get fit again, and stay healthy after that. That's my biggest wish right now. I want to be able to enjoy my football again. That's it."
- Reading have confirmed the appointment of Jaap Stam as their new manager. Stam agreed a deal with Reading on Friday and Andries Uldrink and Said Bakkati, who worked with Stam at Ajax’s reserve side are expected to be part of his backroom staff. The former Manchester United defender is a free agent after leaving the Amsterdam club this month.
- Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani could leave the club to join Arsenal, as Arsene Wenger wants to bring in the Uruguayan should a move for Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy fall through, according to the Daily Express. The Uruguay international is reported to have rejected a £500,000-a-week offer from China in favour of a move to the Premier League.
- Manchester City have reportedly signed Leroy Sane, and will announce the deal after the Euros according to Spanish news outlet Sport. The Catalan newspaper has a history of getting transfers correct with relation to Pep Guardiola, and the former Bayern Munich manager is a known admirer of the Schalke wonderkid, and is prepared to pay a big fee for Sane's signing.
