Bayern Munich to make a surprise bid for Olivier Giroud
The Bavarians are preparing a shock swoop for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in January. Bayern Munich are desperate to sign a striker this winter in order to have a forward sharing the workload with Robert Lewandowski, Sport Bild understands.
The Polish hitman has started 15 games this season and wants another striker at the club to give him some much-needed rest. Giroud may be keen on a move to Germany after not starting a single league game this season for Arsenal.
Emile Forsberg not thinking of a move to Manchester United
After Jose Mourinho was spotted during Sweden's World Cup qualifying playoff against Italy, reports made the rounds that the Manchester United boss was on a scouting duty for Emile Forsberg. A winger is high on United's demand this January with the 26-year-old being one of the prime targets.
But Forsberg has admitted that he is flattered by United's interest but also revealed that he does not intend to leave RB Leipzig at this moment and sees himself playing for the Bundesliga side for the next couple of years at least.
