Sky Sports has revealed that the Italian FA has made telephonic contact with Carlo Ancelotti over the possibility of taking over the reigns with the Italy national team. Ancelotti is currently on a sabbatical and is being termed as a perfect choice to take over from Giampiero Ventura.

West Bromwich Albion revive interest in Josef De Souza

After failing to land the Brazilian midfielder from Fenerbahce last summer, the Baggies are set to revive their interest in Souza. The 28-year-old is said to be manager Tony Pulis' number one January target.

West Brom had made a £10.6 million bid for Souza last summer which was immediately rejected by the Turkish giants which means that the Premier League side will have to make an offer of close to £15 million for the box to box midfielder.
