Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to stay at Borussia Dortmund
After netting in the pre-season friendly against AC Milan, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is now expected to stay at the Westfalenstadion for the upcoming season. The Kicker reports that Dortmund's £70 million valuation of the striker put off Chelsea and Liverpool with both the English clubs ending their interest in the striker. The German club are now expected to reject any offer for Aubameyang whilst preparing to offer him a new deal.
Bayern Munich end interest in Alexis Sanchez
In an interesting turn of events, Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has revealed that the Bavarians are no longer interested in Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez. He said, "I don't know what Sanchez has said but we are no longer involved. We are in agreement with the coach Carlo Ancelotti and we won't be doing another deal for an attacker. That makes no sense." This has cleared the way for Manchester City who have now become the front-runners to sign the Chilean.
