West Ham won’t be bullied into selling Dimitri Payet
West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady has insisted that the club won’t be bullied into selling superstar Dimitri Payet to Marseille. Payet has refused to play for the club and wants a move back to France as he is homesick. The Hammers have knocked back two offers from the Stade Velodrome outfit and want at least £30m for his services.
Brady said, while writing for The Sun: "If Marseille want a bargain they ought to try Roman Road market. They should know that Dimitri Payet, skilled enough to play for Real Madrid as well as West Ham, isn’t going cheap, should we decide he can leave at all.
"My chairmen and the manager keep repeating they want to keep Payet. I can assure you they won’t be bullied into agreeing anything that is not in the best interests of WHU."
PSG want Adam Lallana and Dele Alli
According to the Times, Ligue 1 giants PSG want to sign English duo of Adam Lallana and Dele Alli in the summer as their signings could mean an increase in the club’s revenue through commercial windfall. PSG’s director of football Patrick Kluivert is a long-term admirer of the duo and he is convinced that the duo will benefit the club commercially.
