Diego Costa wants to join Atletico Madrid snubbing interest from others
Chelsea striker Diego Costa’s future is in the air after Antonio Conte had informed the Spaniard that he was not a part of his plans for the upcoming season. According to Sky Sports, the 28-year-old has contacted his former club, Atletico Madrid, and has informed them that he wants to join them.
However, the Vicente Calderon outfit are currently serving a transfer ban and cannot register new players until at least January and should Costa sign for them now, he will have to remain out of the matchday squad until the end of the year.
