Liverpool enter Kylian Mbappe race

The Telegraph understands that the Reds are preparing a mega-money move to lure football's hottest property Kylian Mbappe to Anfield. Mbappe has been targeted by almost all of Europe's top clubs with Liverpool being the latest to enter the race. Marca also claimed that Liverpool had a €100 million bid rejected earlier, with Monaco holding out for a fee in the region of €135 million.

Arsenal favourites to land Alexandre Lacazette

After tasting defeat in their pursuit of Monaco's Mbappe, Arsenal have set their sights on other alternatives. L'equipe reports that Arsene Wenger is toying with the idea of bringing in Alexandre Lacazette to the Emirates. Lyon want €60 million for their valuable asset with Arsenal ready to pay the mentioned price.

Southampton appoint Mauricio Pellegrino

The 45-year-old Argentinian will take charge of the south coast club soon. The club made it official just a while back with the former Barcelona and Liverpool player expected to be a big hit at St. Mary's. He has a similar style to Mauricio Pochettino and believes in promoting talents from the academy. Pellegrino, who last managed Alaves in La Liga, is a perfect fit for Southampton.
