PSG still confident about landing Philippe Coutinho
Despite FC Barcelona's known interest in the Liverpool playmaker and the player's willingness to join the Spanish club, Sport reveals that PSG are still confident of landing Philippe Coutinho.
It is believed that the Parisians are set to offer the Brazilian a huge pay rise to make him reject Barcelona for the riches for Paris. The Spanish daily also said that PSG’s sporting director Antero Henrique recently met with Coutinho’s representative Kia Joorabchian in London.
Manchester City monitoring Mouctar Diakhaby
The Premier League giants are reportedly interested in signing the highly rated Lyon defender, Mouctar Diakhaby. City director of football Txiki Begiristain and co-assistant coach Mikel Arteta were present at Everton in Lyon's 2-1 win over the Toffees and have been impressed by what they have seen.
The 20-year-old has become a regular member of the Lyon side this season and the 6"3' centre-back is being seen as a long-term replacement for Vincent Kompany.
