Anthony Martial emerged as a shock target for Arsenal

- Chelsea are in pole position to sign Riyad Mahrez in a €50m deal after Adidas accidentally released Mahrez’s Chelsea kit online with the number 7 printed on its back. Arsenal were leading the race for Mahrez but Chelsea have stolen a march in last 25 hours and are expected to announce the deal later this week.

- Arsenal meanwhile are linked with a shocking move for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial. Gunners have seen their odds of signing the French drop to 11/2 from 9/1 after the French striker was snubbed from the number 9 jersey which was handed to Zlatan Ibrahimovic against his wish.

- Chelsea are now linked with Lazio’s central defender Stefan de Vrij, according to reports from Football Italia. De Vrij is valued at €15m which has got Chelsea interesed after being priced out of a deal for Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly.
