Sevilla interested in Manchester United’s Anthony Martial
La Liga hopefuls Sevilla are interested in signing Manchester United striker Anthony Martial on loan until the end of the season. According to the Express, the Frenchman – who has struggled for game time this season – could be allowed to leave on loan this season as it will allow him to get game time under his belt.
The reigning Europa League champions are also keen on the deal as they believe the Frenchman could help them secure a top-3 finish in the league this season. The report adds that Sevilla’s sporting director has already been in contact with Martial’s representatives for a while now.
James Rodriguez – Thibaut Courtois swap deal
Real Madrid are willing to hold on to midfielder James Rodriguez until the end of the season as they want to use him as part of the deal to bring goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to Santiago Bernabeu.
Rodriguez has already expressed his desire to leave and has been linked with a host of clubs while Courtois is also open to a return to Spain, where he has previously played for Atletico Madrid.
Juventus interested in Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta
In what could be termed as the biggest shock ahead of the upcoming transfer window, Juventus are interested in signing Barcelona great Andres Iniesta once his contract expires in 2018. According to Calciomercato, the Turin outfit are hoping to pull off an Andrea Pirlo with the Spanish World Cup winner – Juventus had signed Pirlo on a free from rivals AC Milan in 2011 and guided them to 4 successive Scudetto triumphs.
The report further adds that Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu is not convinced by the midfielder’s performance in 2016 and is deliberating on whether to offer him a contract extension.
