Barcelona are looking to sign a certain Newcastle star, and Liverpool are interested in another Schalke star.
Here are the transfer rumours doing the rounds on July 28th:
Serie A
Juventus star Roberto Pereyra is expected to leave the club this summer. According to Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, West Ham are very interested in signing the Argentine attacker.
Newcastle winger Florian Thauvin is close to sealing his move to Lazio on a loan deal, according to the Italian media. There is a mandatory option to purchase the player for €11m.
Marca say Manchester United are close to signing Paul Pogba. The Spanish website reckon Zinedine Zidane is also a big fan of the midfielder, but he isn’t worth the money.
Lazar Markovic could be sold this summer. According to Telegraph, Fiorentina have approached Liverpool to sign Markovic, whilst Sporting Lisbon are also interested in the player.
La Liga
Real Sociedad are close to signing Sevilla striker Fernando Llorente, reports Tutto Mercato Web. Swansea City, however, are also interested in Llorente, as they’re looking to sign a striker this summer.
Barcelona are looking to sign a striker to support Messi, Suarez, and Neymar, and could be interested in Newcastle star Ayoze Perez, reports Tutto Mercato Web. Newcastle, however, could demand a huge transfer fee for the player.
Paul Pogba is close to signing for Manchester United, and that has forced Real Madrid to consider other midfield options. According to reports, Zinedine Zidane could be interested in signing Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko.
La Liga club Deportivo La Coruna could sign Marlos Moreno on loan. Manchester City are expected to sign the player permanently for €9m, before sending him out on loan, reports Marca.
Premier League
Ajax are interested in signing Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore to replace Arkadiusz Milik, who is Napoli bound, claims De Telegraaf. However, Antonio Conte is yet to decide if he wants to keep Traore next season or not.
Barcelona could be interested in signing Liverpool star Divock Origi, reports Sport. The Catalan giants are looking to sign a player to support Messi, Suarez, and Neymar and Origi is reportedly an option.
Everton are interested in signing Aston Villa star Idrissa Gueye, reports L’Equipe. The Senegalese defensive midfielder is also keen on leaving the Championship club.
According to Spanish radio Onda Cero, Paul Pogba could sign for Manchester United in the ‘coming hours’. The Spanish radio channel believe Manchester United are the only club in negotiations with Juventus to sign Pogba.
Bundesliga
According to German daily Bild, Tottenham are still interested in signing Mainz star Yunus Malli. The player is expected to cost around €10m, and has confirmed he isn’t sure about his future.
Schalke star Leroy Sane is on the verge of signing for Manchester City, reports Bild. It is reported both parties are in the final stages of negotiations, and that Sane has already said goodbye to Schalke fans after training yesterday.
Liverpool have been linked to Schalke star Max Meyer, after failing to sign Leroy Sane. Meyer was asked about the rumours linking him to Liverpool, and the player admitted he is happy at Schalke. Meyer, however, said ‘Klopp is a great coach’ and ‘someone who appreciates him as a player’.
Rest of Europe
Tottenham star Clinton N’Jie is close to signing for Marseille on a loan deal. The Ligue club had sent their doctors to London to complete the medicals, and is now waiting for his visa, reports L’Equipe.
Marseille are close to signing Swansea star Bafétimbi Gomis. The French striker is expected to undergo medicals at the Ligue 1 club today, according to reports in the French media.
Liverpool are looking to sign a full back this summer, and are interested in signing Jordy Gaspar, reports L’Equipe. The 19-year-old is yet to sign a professional contract at Lyon, and Liverpool could take advantage of the situation.
