Juventus want Real Madrid full-back to replace Dani Alves

Dani Alves announced his decision to leave Juventus earlier in the day, with a move to Manchester City impending. The Old Lady are pursuing Real Madrid right-back Danilo to replace the departing Brazilian, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon. Danilo is said to be inclined at a change of scenery after seeing his career stall at the Santiago Bernabeu, having been forced to play second fiddle to Dani Carvajal.

The 25-year-old wants to move to a club where he can feature regularly in the first-time as he wants to represent Brazil at the World Cup next year and Juventus are prepared to guarantee him that.

Atletico Madrid superstar not interested in Barcelona move

Barcelona were heavily linked with a move for Atletico Madrid superstar Saul Niguez, however, the Catalan giants have suffered a huge blow in their attempts to sign the 22-year-old, with the Spaniard claiming that he has no intention of leaving the Vicente Calderon outfit.

Speaking in an interview with AS, Saul said: "I have no intention of moving. I'm where I want [to be] and things are going to stay the same.”

Barcelona’s 4-man shortlist for right-back position

Barcelona have chalked up a 4-man shortlist to bolster the right-back position after conceding defeat in the pursuit of Arsenal sensation Hector Bellerin. According to Don Balon, the Camp Nou outfit are targeting another Premier League full-back in the form of Cedric Soares of Southampton to provide competition to Sergi Roberto.

However, he is not the only right-back on the club’s radar with Alvaro Odriozola of Real Sociedad, Joao Cancelo of Valencia and Nelson Semedo of Benfica the other alternatives.
