Lyon target Manchester City duo
According to French daily L’Equipe, Olympique Lyon are planning to improve their defense for the upcoming season and have shortlisted two Manchester City defenders to help with this cause. The Ligue 1 giants want to sign wantaway defender Eliaquim Mangala – who spent the last season on loan at Valencia – or Jason Denayer, who was loaned out for the 2016/17 season to Sunderland.
Galatasaray set to sign Bafetimbi Gomis from Swansea City
Galatasaray are close to completing a deal for the services of Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis, according to Sky Sports. The 31-year-old took to Instagram to post a picture of himself on a flight to Istanbul. The French international spent last season on loan with Olympique Marseille, where he scored 21 goals for the club. The Turkish giants will have to shell out somewhere in the region of £2.5 million for the services of the former Lyon striker.
