- Liverpool are interested in signing Borussia Moenchengladbach star Mahmoud Dahoud, and are prepared to pay in excess of £25m, reports Liverpool Echo. The 20-year-old has a couple of years left on his contract at the Bundesliga club, and reports in Germany suggest he is reluctant to sign a new contract.
- Marseille are keen on extending the loan spell of Newcastle star Florian Thauvin. The Frenchman wanted to complete a move to the Ligue 1 club this week itself, and is also willing to take a wage cut, reports L’Equipe. Newcastle, however, want to offload him permanently.
- According to L’Equipe, Marseille’s interim boss Franck Passi is keen on signing Swansea star Bafetimbi Gomis to replace Michy Batshuayi. The Ligue 1 club, however, would want to sign him on loan, and are not keen on paying any loan fee. They’re also likely to find some difficult in matching his wages of €5m a season.
