Don Balon understands that the Athletic Bilbao man, Aymeric Laporte, is open toa move to Real Madrid after the end of the current season. Bilbao's slump in this campaign has made Laporte eager to shift loyalties and restart his career at a new place.
Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of the centre back and want the Spaniard to shore up their defence. It is reported that Zinedine Zidane and Laporte have been in constant touch with Zidane trying his best to lure the 23-year-old to the Bernabeu.
Cristiano Ronaldo to not sign a contract extension
After a 3-1 humbling at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur, Cristiano Ronaldo was in talks with the media where the topic of his contract extension came up. But the Portuguese superstar has maintained that he is happy at the club but has no intentions of signing a new deal beyond 2021.
Ronaldo said, "I'm very well. I don't want to re-sign. I still have four years in my contract. I don't want to re-sign."

Inter Milan eyeing Javier Pastore
Luciano Spalletti is keen on making the most of a brilliant start to the season at Inter Milan and wants reinforcements in January. Tuttosport reveals that Javier Pastore, the PSG midfielder is top on Spalletti's list.
Pastore has fallen down the pecking order at Paris and is open for a move to Italy. But the Parisians are expected to demand Joao Mario going the other way for any deal for the Argentine.
Eder signs a new four-year deal
The Inter Milan forward, Eder has today signed an extension with the club to stay with the club until 2021. The 30 year has agreed to terms with the club to sign an improved deal. Eder joined Inter in January 2016 from Sampdoria and has so far scored nine league goals for the Nerazzurri.

FC Barcelona eyeing RB Leipzig duo
Barcelona's sporting director, Robert Fernandez was seen on TV during RB Leipzig's 2-0 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich. Mundo Deportivo reports that Fernandez was on duty to personally scout the duo of Dayot Upamecano and Timo Werner.
Both the players are being speculated as Barcelona targets since the end of the transfer window with the Catalans ready to pay the required price for the duo. Upamecano is being seen as a long-term heir to Gerard Pique whereas Timo Werner is touted as a direct, like for like alternative to Luis Suarez.
Leon Goretzka to FC Barcelona gathers pace
The 22-year-old's move to Spain has suddenly gathered pace after Marc Andre Ter Stegen recently praised the midfielder. Goretzka is favourite to join the Catalans and Ter Stegen's quotes now make the club's intentions pretty clear.
Talking to a German outlet named Waz, Ter Stegen said, "Leon is a fantastic player. What I've seen of him in the national team is extraordinary and remarkable. I also think he will get better in the future."

Arsenal want Charly Musonda
According to Foot Mercato, a French publication, Arsenal are eyeing a move for Chelsea's talented winger, Charly Musonda. The 21-year-old rejected a loan move this past summer to fight for his place at Chelsea but has made just two appearances in the Carabao Cup.
Arsene Wenger has been impressed by what he has seen and is looking to make a move for the youngster next summer.
Everton close to appointing Sean Dyche
Everton owner Farhad Moshiri yesterday held talks with Sam Allardyce over the vacant managerial post at the Toffees but has not been impressed by the former Sunderland manager.
This has made him even more certain of appointing Sean Dyche with Everton now ready to pay Burnley a sum of £2.5 million which is his release clause. The Daily Mirror reports that Dyche can be named as the next Everton boss by Monday.

Luan pens a new deal with Gremio
Arsenal and Liverpool have been dealt a transfer blow in the form of Brazilian forward Luan who has today signed a new deal with Gremio. The new contract will see Luan in Gremio colours until 2020.
Liverpool were ready to make a bid of close to £26 million in January whereas Spartak Moscow saw a bid of £30 million getting rejected last summer.
Shanghai Shenhua want Tomer Hemed
The Chinese Super League giants are looking for reinforcements ahead of the new season beginning in March. The Shanghai side have earmarked Brighton and Hove Albion striker, Tomer Hemed for a potential January move.
Hemed is valued at around £5 million and has already scored 2 Premier League goals this season.
