Roma identify Mohamed Salah replacement

Roma target Riyad Mahrez as a replacement for Mohamed Salah, according to Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Giallorossi allowed their superstar forward to join Liverpool in a deal believed to be in the region of £35m.

However, the report adds that should the Seria A giants fail in their pursuit of Mahrez, they have identified Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado as an alternative, with the Colombian set to face huge competition for places following the arrival of Douglas Costa and Federico Bernardeschi.

Inter Milan defender agrees personal terms with Valencia

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo has agreed personal terms with Valencia, however, a deal between the two clubs is far from being agreed.

Another report in Sky Italia claims that the Colombian is valued at €15m but the La Liga outfit is unwilling to meet the Serie A side’s valuation and are willing to take the defender on loan with an option to buy.

Roma interested in Liverpool defender

Roma are mulling over a move for out-of-favour Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho if reports in The Sun are to be believed. The Frenchman has fallen out with Jurgen Klopp and spent the second half of last season on loan with Crystal Palace. The report adds that the Serie A outfit will have to cough up £30m for the services of the defender.
