Liverpool ready to pay record transfer fee for RB Leipzig superstar
Liverpool are prepared to almost double their transfer record to sign RB Leipzig superstar Naby Keita, if reports in the Times are to be believed. According to the report, the Reds are willing to offer £70m for the services of the 22-year-old, who recently expressed his desire to one day play for a big club like Barcelona, Real Madrid or Manchester City.
Speaking in an interview with Welt, Keita said: “I hope, however, that I have the level in two, three years and could play for one of the very big clubs. This includes Barcelona, but it also includes Real Madrid or Manchester City.”
