FC Barcelona have contacted La Real over Inigo Martinez

Real Madrid eager to offload Gareth Bale

According to Marca, Zinedine Zidane has told Florentino Perez that he does not think Kylian Mbappe will be a success in Spain as long as the BBC trio remains intact. The manager feels that the balance of the team will not be maintained if Mbappe arrives with Gareth Bale still in the team. Madrid have slapped a price tag of £90 million on the Welshman but might have to lower their expectations if they are to offload him this summer.

Barcelona close to signing Inigo Martinez

Real Sociedad have confirmed that the Catalans have contacted them over the transfer of centre back Inigo Martinez. La Real's sporting director Loren Juarros said, "It's true Barca have spoken with us about Martinez. They've been in contact to show their interest in the player. But so far there is no offer on the table. That's all we can say."

Barcelona are ready to make a bid of €32 million for the defender but La Real have so far maintained their stance of the player being "irreplaceable".
