Barcelona not interested in Leon Goretzka
According to Goal.com, Barca insist that they are not interested in signing Leon Goretzka. The Schalke midfielder has also been linked with a move to Manchester United.
Barcelona club scout Ariedo Braida, who was scouting the player, has deemed him unfit for the requirements at the club. The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in Bundesliga at the moment and is also tipped to leave the club, as early as, in January.

Chelsea, Liverpool on alert as Pastore is told that he can leave PSG
£26m rated PSG midfielder, Javier Pastore is expected to leave the club shortly and Premier League giants Chelsea and Liverpool have been put on alert, according to TalkSport.
PSG's summer arrivals have severely cut Pastore's game time short at the French capital. Moreover, the Argentine has been reportedly told by the club that he is free to leave if he wants to.
Virgin Van Dijk still open to transfer
Liverpool have been handed a major transfer boost as the Southampton defender has revealed in an interview with FoxSports that he is still open to a transfer.
"Well, a lot happened. Learned a lot, heard a lot, seen a lot and all that. Got some life experience."
"I'm not sorry for anything. Of course, I wanted to make a step up, but Southampton did not want me to sell me, but you're a professional, so now I'll give everything to the club.

Theo Walcott could join Inter Milan in January after the Serie A outfit have expressed their interest in signing the Gunner who is reportedly unhappy at the Emirates.

Manchester United and Manchester City monitoring Pellegrini
The Manchester rivals are interested in AS Roma midfielder Pellegrini. The 21-year-old rejoined AS Roma after they activated his buy-back clause of £9m to bring him back from Sassuolo.
According to Sky Italia, scouts of both United and City are monitoring the youngster.

Carlo Ancelotti open to a return to the Premier League
The former Bayern Munich coach who is now looking at options is reportedly ready to come back to England and take charge of a Premier League side, according to Goal.
Ancelotti has managed Chelsea in the past. Despite getting sacked by Bayern, Ancelotti's resume remains impressive as he has also managed Milan, Juventus, Real Madrid and PSG.
Meanwhile, the former German midfielder Metzelder has claimed that Jurgen Klopp is open to take up the job at Bayern Munich. In that case, Ancelotti could very well end up at Liverpool.

Lacazette reveals he snubbed Paris Saint-Germain
The former Lyon striker revealed that he had the chance to join PSG but chose not to as he wanted to test himself in the Premier League.
Lacazette was talking to RMC Sport,
"We talked to PSG but I knew it was not where I wanted to go. In France, I would only play for Lyon."
"PSG could have helped me progress because of the big players they have but I wanted to play in another league."
Cavani shuts down transfer speculations
Edinson Cavani has silenced all transfer speculations following an ugly on-field spat with teammate Neymar over a penalty. It was widely reported that Neymar wanted the Uruguayan striker gone after the incident but Cavani has now come out and played down those rumours.
Cavani was attending a press conference and said,
"These are things to do with football. Sometimes things are blown out of proportion. Everyone is aware of that. These are things that are resolved within a changing room.
"Everything has a solution and everything is calm now. The important thing is that we all fight for the same aim, whether it's with the national team or for the club."
