Alvaro Morata Chelsea bound?
Alvaro Morata wants a Chelsea move according to several sources including the Daily Star. The Spaniard understands he will not get enough game time next season with Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo leading the Real Madrid attack and has asked Real Madrid President Florentino Perez to facilitate his transfer to Chelsea.
He has also said that he is not interested in a move to AC Milan and prefers Chelsea so that he can link up with Antonio Conte. While speaking about his future, Morata said, “I don't know, it doesn't depend only on me. The only thing I've done is play, train and enjoy things with my team-mates and it doesn't depend on me.”
“It'll be a beautiful summer: I'm getting married and I've won two trophies,” he added.
Liverpool plan talks with Alexandre Lacazette
The Daily Express reports that Liverpool are planning talks with the representatives of Alexandre Lacazette. The trio of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are all interested in Lacazette’s signature after his move to Atletico Madrid fell apart. The Frenchman is in high demand and could be playing in the Premier League come next season and the Reds are confident of beating their rivals in the race to sign the Lyon striker.
Arsenal set to hand Arsene Wenger a huge budget
The Daily Star has stated that Arsenal’s board are set to hand Arsene Wenger a huge £150 million budget. Despite failing to secure a Champions League spot, Wenger did manage to salvage Arsenal’s season by winning the FA Cup and the board is pleased with this.
Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe and Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez are reportedly on Wenger’s radar but it remains to be seen which players the Gunners finally sign in the summer.
