PSG set to sign Real Madrid defender
After spending a decade with Real Madrid, Pepe will change loyalties in the summer as his club has not offered him a new contract. Marca report that Paris Saint-Germain have won the race to sign him on a free transfer as Pepe feels the Parisians can offer him a perfect chance to win more trophies which also means that he can have a chance to be selected in the 2018 FIFA World Cup squad of Portugal. Pepe rejected advances from China and Inter Milan to accept the offer from Paris.
Another day another AS Monaco player being linked to the Premier League
Djibril Sidibe is the latest Monaco player to be linked with a move away from the French champions. The full-back is a target of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, according to Daily Star. The English tabloid claim that Arsenal see him as a potential replacement for Hector Bellerin on the right flank while the same can be said for Spurs who are set to lose Kyle Walker to Manchester City. Monaco are prepared to lose Sidibe and will be holding out for a bid of £35 million for the full-back.
