- Eden Hazard has expressed his desire to stay at Chelsea, dispelling rumours of a move to PSG.
“PSG are not part of my plans," the 25-year-old told TeleFoot. "I have a contract until 2020, I feel good here and I don't want to finish on a season like that. I left Lille as a boss, and I'd like to leave Chelsea as a boss, if I do leave one day. But for the time being I'm here, of course."
- Leicester City are targeting Southampton’s Victor Wanyama as a replacement for N’Golo Kante, as suggested in reports by The Star. Kante has been said to be on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain, and reports have suggested that the Paris-based club has made a five-year offer to the player via his agent. The French international was crucial to Leicester’s title-winning campaign and Wanyama has been singled out by the club to fill in his shoes.
- Sky Sports have reported that Everton and Southampton are close to agreeing a £5million compensation deal for Southampton’s manager Ronald Koeman to take over at Goodison Park. Koeman was on top of the Merseyside club’s list ever since Roberto Martinez was sacked and an announcement regarding the Dutch manager’s appointment could be made within the next 24 hours.
- Leicester City are planning to make a counter-offer to convince Jamie Vardy to stay with the club within the next 24 hours, reports the Daily Telegraph. Earlier reports suggested that the England striker has been in talks with Arsenal after the Gunners triggered the release clause in his contract with a £20million bid.
