- Wolfsburg’s left back Ricardo Rodriguez wants to leave the club this summer, and would fancy a move to Arsenal. Rodriguez, 23, has a €25 million release clause in his contract, which he can activate up until the end of June, and Arsenal have recently been tipped as the frontrunners for his signature.
- Paris Saint-Germain are planning to offer a five-year deal to Leicester City’s midfielder N’Golo Kante. The Daily Mirror has claimed that the Paris-based club are willing to trigger the £20million release clause in the Frenchman’s contract and are front-runners to bag his signature with Chelsea and Arsenal also in the chase for the player’s services.
- Borussia Dortmund’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan is on top of Arsenal’s priority list, as reported by ESPN FC. Mkhitaryan, 27, has just over 12 months remaining on his current contract and is likely to leave the German club after talks over a possible contract extension broke down. Dortmund will reportedly demand around €35 million for Mkhitaryan, who has also been linked with Chelsea, should he fail to prolong his deal.
