Liverpool monitoring David Silva
Good folks at the Daily Express have reported that Liverpool are looking at the option of making a move for Manchester City's David Silva next summer. The Spaniard has a contract until 2019 with City but has been reluctant to sign an extension.
Pep Guardiola wants to hand a 12-month extension to the 31-year-old but the playmaker is said to be looking at all the options before committing. Liverpool fear losing Emre Can soon and believes that signing an experienced midfielder in the form of David Silva can prove to be a perfect short-term solution.

The Brazilian defender, David Luiz has reportedly seen his Chelsea career being under serious doubt after getting into a row with manager Antonio Conte.
The Times understands that Luiz questioned Conte's tactics after the 3-0 defeat against AS Roma in the Champions League. Luiz trained alone yesterday and was left out of the squad for the home game against Manchester United.

Leon Goretzka agrees on personal terms with FC Barcelona
Mundo Deportivo reports that FC Barcelona have agreed to personal terms with Leon Goretzka ahead of a potential January move. The Catalans feel that £47 million will be enough for Schalke 04 to let him leave in the winter market.

Barcelona were keen on landing the Algerian to improve their bench strength but could not tempt the Leicester management to let him come to La Liga.

After trying their luck last summer, Real Betis are set to return with an approach for Arsenal's Jack Wilshere. The midfielder is in the final year of his contract and there have been no talks scheduled for a renewal.
