Bayern Munich looking for a backup option for Robert Lewandowski
The Bavarians are aware of the club's reliance on striker Robert Lewandowski and are actively looking to bring in another striker in the winter transfer market. But the club CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has accepted that finding the right option in January will be a tough ask.
Speaking to Sky Germany, Rummenigge said, "The possibilities will be limited. If you have a good player, you will not give it up or only for horrendous money. But we are hopeful of completing our requirement."
Leon Goretzka agrees on personal terms with FC Barcelona
Mundo Deportivo reports that FC Barcelona have agreed to personal terms with Leon Goretzka ahead of a potential January move. The Catalans feel that £47 million will be enough for Schalke 04 to let him leave in the winter market.
The midfielder's representatives have already conducted a couple of meetings with Barcelona officials and are keen on completing the transfer as soon as possible.
