FC Barcelona failed in an attempt to sign Riyad Mahrez

It has come to the fore that FC Barcelona and AS Roma made substantial offers for Leicester City playmaker Riyad Mahrez but to no avail. Gazzetta Dello Sport has claimed that the Foxes rejected every offer that came in their way for Mahrez as it did not match their valuation of £50 million.
Barcelona were keen on landing the Algerian to improve their bench strength but could not tempt the Leicester management to let him come to La Liga.
Real Betis want Jack Wilshere
After trying their luck last summer, Real Betis are set to return with an approach for Arsenal's Jack Wilshere. The midfielder is in the final year of his contract and there have been no talks scheduled for a renewal.
