Arsenal to make an advanced offer for Thomas Lemar
AS Monaco have received a second bid from Arsenal for winger Thomas Lemar. L'equipe reports that the Gunners have bid £40 million for the winger after seeing their first bid of £35 million get rejected. But this bid is set to be rejected as well with Monaco valuing Lemar at £60 million. The player too is not very keen on leaving Monaco this summer.
Marseille in pole position to land Olivier Giroud
The Telegraph has reported that the French club believe that they are the favourites to sign Arsenal's Olivier Giroud. West Ham United and Everton are also interested but Marseille believe that their offer of €28 million plus add-ons will be enough for the Gunners to sell Giroud. The French striker is also keen on returning to his homeland and might prefer Marseille's offer over that of Everton's.
