Sky Sports can reveal that Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has shortlisted four managers to take over the reigns at Goodison Park and out of which, Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone is Moshiri's favourite option. Simeone has a contract with Atletico until 2020 and it is difficult to believe that El Cholo will leave his club midway through a season. The other managers on Everton's radar are Sam Allardyce, Marco Silva and Wolves' Nuno Santo.
Danny Ings set to join Newcastle United
A series of injuries has affected Ings' Liverpool career so far but there may be a ray of hope soon for the 25-year-old. The Daily Mail reports that Newcastle United want the striker on loan in January with the Reds also keen on giving Ings regular game time. Ings has currently been playing for the Liverpool U23s and recently scored four goals in a match against Bristol City.
