Weidenfeller to leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the year
The goalkeeper who joined the club in 2002 is now playing second fiddle to Roman Burki. Now Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has come out and revealed that Weidenfeller is set to leave the club at the end of the year.
The 37-year-old has not started a game this season.
Zorc told Sky,
It is certain that Roman Weidenfeller is in his last year so we can say that we are looking for a new number two.
Real Madrid to wait on Pulisic
The 19-year-old U.S.A international who has been impressive in Europe and on the international front had garnered interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool. However, it is highly unlikely that Pulisic will leave Dortmund in the near future.
But Los Blancos are willing to be patient and sign the youngster at a later time. Real Madrid have been investing in young talent for a while now but Pulisic will be wary of the fact that he'll see only limited game time at the Bernabeu.
