Queens Park Ranger’s have completed the signing of Senegalese defender Armand Traore on a 3 year deal.
Traore, 21 said that he has not been able to prove himself yet and is looking forward to this new chapter in his career.
“When I talked to Neil Warnock he was very passionate about what I could bring to the club, the French youth international told the club’s website. “
He was very motivated about playing me week in, week out, and that’s what I need at this stage of my career.
“I’ve not been able to prove and show what I’m all about because I’ve been at two big, big clubs like Juventus and Arsenal.
I’m looking forward to coming here and playing regular football. The ambition of the new owners and the calibre of players they are signing is something that really attracted me to the club.”
Traore has made just one Premier League appearance for the Gunners in the last 15 months, going out on loan to Juventus last season where he made 10 appearances.
He is the third signing since Air Asia chief executive Tony Fernandes took over the Loftus Road side.
Samir Nasri, Cesc Fabregas, Emmanuel Eboue, Gael Clichy have all quit the North London club this summer, with Nasri slamming the club’s lack of funds.
